Bevel Angles

Bevel angles make a difference in your ski/board´s performance. Typical side edge bevel angles range from 1° (novice) to 2° (advanced), while racers will typically run up to 3° side edge bevel for a bigger "bite" (but a greater chance of "catching an edge"). The best source for your specific ski/board bevel angle is from either your local ski shop or direct from the manufacturer.

An excellent description of bevel angles and base waxing is in Toko's latest tuning manual (however, please note instructions on filing edges is eliminated with EdgeTune™ Pro II!)
