Bevel Angles
Bevel angles make a difference in your ski/board´s performance.
Typical bevel angles range from ½° to 2°, with the
majority @ 1° on both base and side edges (in general, this is
what Burton, Dynastar, Head, K2, Olin, Rossignol, Salomon &
Volant recommend). The best source for your specific ski/board bevel
angle is from either your local ski shop or direct from the manufacturer.
An excellent description of bevel angles and base waxing is in
Toko's latest tuning
manual (however, please note instructions on filing edges is
eliminated with EdgeTune!)
